There are many ways to make money online, some require a website, and others don't. Here is a selection of money-making opportunities on the internet.
Opportunities that don't require a website:
Paid Online Surveys: You get paid to fill out short and long surveys online. Some surveys pay a few dollars each, some more detailed surveys and focus groups pay $10-$50 or more. Some sites offer Free Access to their databases, while others require you to pay for access to a large database of survey opportunities.
Ebay Selling: Sell merchandise on eBay. This can be products purchased online through a dropshipper like Doba or Megagoods, or it can be merchandise you obtain on your own through wholesale sources. Some people even make products or have a business that they can create personalized items and re-sell for profit.
Some affiliate programs allow you to make money online without a website. When you sign up for an account, you will be able to create links to other people's websites, which will be tracked back to you. You can use your links in e-mails, on message boards, blogs, or in chatting. Just by promoting these products for other people, you can receive a large comission. If you are ambitious, you can use pay-per-click programs to advertise these programs, and you still receive the same commission.
Ways to make money online with a website:
Affiliate programs are a great way to make money on your website. When you sign up, you can choose companies that have products that relate to your website. You then get links that are tracked back to your account. You can earn money on everything from diet programs to credit card applications to specialty products. Some affiliate programs pay a very small percentage of sales referred by you (3% to 20%), while other programs (usually ones that offer information products like e-books and downloadable software) can offer 50% commission or more! These programs are very easy to use, and the income is automatically generated and paid into your bank account or mailed as a check.
Advertising: Companies will pay you to display their advertising on your website. One popular program is Google Adsense. This is a program where you get paid when people click on google ads on your site. Just sign up, add the google code, and start getting paid. Some clicks are worth only a few cents, but other clicks will pay close to $1. There are other companies with similar programs as well
